The Reading Folders contain cards and booklets similar to Montessori Phonogram Booklets. In this stage, the child is given one folder at a time where each folder has one key sound shown on the outside of the folder. Inside each folder, there are cards and booklets of phonograms that have the same sound as the key sound. The child will learn that there are different phonograms that sound the same and that there are words containing the same key sound but spelled with different phonograms.
